❧ In Character

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Oh yes, albeit this comes with some warnings. Astarion has a complicated relationship with physical affection and will use it to his own benefit as a means to gain favor and protect himself. Consequently, he prefers to be the instigator. However people he actually trusts (if??) have a pass. In general he prefers those people ask before they touch him.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes! Astarion usually prefers to be the one creating the violence, but he gets some enjoyment out of watching it happen as well. He is a Rogue and no slouch in a fight, though he will most often choose to put his self-preservation first. I am down to write fighting threads and am comfortable with gore.

RELATIONSHIPS: He is available for shipping but it definitely comes with #baggage. He is very bisexual. Sex comes before feelings. Feelings may actually put a pause to the sex, but I enjoy navigating his discovery of genuine connections with others.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Well...he's got a worm in his head that wants to tell him what to do. Makes things a little awkward but mostly it buffers him from some psionics. Not immune, just more difficult.

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Astarion has a few spells at his disposal that are mostly aimed around deception/trickery and combat. He is not a powerful magician and is susceptible to other magics.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's a vampire spawn. So he's dead.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I am pretty open, but Astarion has trauma around consent and bodily autonomy. He was essentially made a sex worker and slave against his will. These are heavy topics that I won't bring up without actual cause and in more serious threads, if at all. Please note that he also discusses murder fairly casually and has little compunction with using other people as he sees fit. (With the assumption he has that other people are going to use him too.) This he will discuss...well, very easily, often jokingly.

BACKTAGGING: Yes! I am a big back-tagger, no need to rush.

THREADHOPPING: In texting memes and whatnot have at it, otherwise I consider most threads private to specific parties.

FOURTHWALLING: Prefer not unless it's like TFLN or something. (Deadpool is welcome.)

SHIPPING: I'm open to shipping with other BG3/D&D/Cross-canon in general characters! For BG3, pretty much all the other companions are fair game as well as other recurring adult NPCs. I'm also open to OCs/Tavs, but not comfortable with gnomes/dwarves. At the moment I haven't done a Dark Urge run so I may not know the finer details, but I'm happy to play off Durges as well.
